  1. Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in controlling and tracking project performance in respect to time, cost, and quality.
  • Assisting in the coordination with other organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts and dependencies.
  • Assisting in the coordination of meetings, as needed, to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, etc. for project stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the gathering and reporting of project status Assisting in meeting management (scheduling, meeting minutes, follow-up on action items)
  • Assisting with the development, maintenance and enforcement of process and project audits, adherence to standards and governance, and report project performance metrics to management.
  • Providing support to the development and documentation of standardized and streamlined processes with appropriate governance controls throughout project life cycles.
  • Maintains document control as per PMO standards.

 

  1. Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience managing medium to large scale projects, delivering based on milestones and driven by best practices 
  • Previous experience in an organized large scale Project Management Office is preferred 
  • Degree qualified, ideally with Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • Project management expertise including planning, control, execution and estimating (use of MS Project is required) 
  • Excellent communication and team working skills 
  • Confidence in dealing with internal and external management in the provision and presentation of complex and sensitive information 
  • Ability to operate within a dynamic cultural environment 
  • Knowledge of application of formal project management methodologies (PMI standards) 
  • Ms Office, PowerPoint & Visio familiarization and use required 
  • Experience of project-related ERP systems 
  • Strong, effective communicator (written and interpersonal) in English (preferably in Arabic too) and ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact.
